Great to get back on the decks this week, there is so much great tunage out there at the moment. Also, tonight was the first of a new Discs Breaks segment: Disc Breaks Guest Playlist. This is when I invite a fan of the show to send me their favourite tunes and I mix them in a special segment during the show. This is to appreciate the support and love from the peeps that tune in regularly but are not Dj’s or producers themselves – a chance for them to get to choose the tunes for a change.
Kicking off this new segment was a keen Disc Breaker who has been supporting the show from very early on: Chaz aka The Phoenix from Hybridized fame. Him and his misses Raincry, have been big fans of the show and have shown me great support so I had to invite him on first. As you can see from the tracks he chose below, we have very similar taste in tunage. Chaz big respect mate!
From next week I’m going on holiday for 5 weeks around the Uk and Europe, but never fear as I plan to not miss a show as should be hooking up with fellow NSB DJ’s to tee up live shows where I can. If not, worse case I’ll pre-record the shows and you’ll still get 2 hours each week. And if you happen to be around Reading in the UK on the 19th of October, come down to Thump as I’ll be playing live – well stoked to have a gig during my travels 🙂
