Here we go again with a solid guest mix on a psy breaks tip, this time from the other side of the planet – French maestro MartOpetEr! I’ve been really diggin’ his style of deep psy breaks – and recently so have a stack of other people from all the remix comp wins he’s has recently – and thought it’d be great to get a showcase from him, so here it is.
MartOpetEr
Peter G aka MartOpetEr is a Psy Break producer from Nice in the South of France. He entered the Tekno Music world in 1998 by participating in the big Free Parties of the South of France and the North of Italia. In 2002, he started producing some Hard Tek/Tribe livesets and played in several parties integrating the “Eliptik Corporation” crew. When he discovered the Break Beat Style and the famous labels like: “Figer Lickin, Marine Parade, Breafast Club, LOT49 … ” It was a revelation.
Today MartOpetEr is producing his own Break Beat : a shake of all his influences. Whatever he plays: Livesets or Mixsets, MartOpetEr brings you an underground sound with heavy basslines and hypnotik elements. Recently signed to famous labels as VIM Breaks (GR), Raveart Records (SP), AUX Technology (UK), Distorsion Records (SP), Divergence Records (FR), LOT49 (UK), Breakz R Boss (CA) MartOpetEr is becoming an uplifting artist on the international Break Beat scene to follow.
